Abstract

People with higher education in Russia, including those who have graduated from university relatively recently, 5–10 years ago, possess tremendous advantages on the labour market compared to other employees. Unemployment rates are about 2 times less than the national average, the earnings – much higher, social status over the last 15 years has not deteriorated, up to date the vast majority of these people are working in the fields, which make them belong to three social groups: executives and specialists of higher and middle skill level.
