The book Educational Technology Program and Project Evaluation by Spector and Yuen (2016) is part of a larger series edited by J. Michael Spector entitled Interdisciplinary Approaches to Educational Technology Series. In this concise 190-page book, Spector and Yuen impart a wealth of information concerning the foundations of effective evaluation. The program and project evaluation book is first divided into four parts with each part including a different aspect of evaluation theory and key definitions. The authors have embedded learning activities—such as short quizzes, problem scenarios, and practice tasks—to facilitate engagement with the concepts. They also included online links and additional literature as extension resources.
