Abstract

The Bangladeshi microfinance institution has grown and changed during the last decade. Medium-size Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) in this South Asian country have helped alleviate poverty and boost economic growth by offering financial services to disadvantaged people. This chapter analyses Bangladesh’s medium-size MFIs’ 2013–2022 descriptive data. The research covers sustainability, outreach, governance structure, and control factors, revealing the country’s changing microfinance environment.
