Abstract
This paper is regarding the development of a console application named ‘Unique Identifier System (UIS)’ used to create a unique identification number (UID) for a person at the time of his/her birth. Instead of having various identity proofs like PAN card, Driving license, Aadhaar card, Voter ID card, Ration card etc., the person will be recognized by its UID all over the world. This UID will be stored on a cloud to be accessed all over the globe. For hosting the application on Cloud, we are using the Aneka tool, a Cloud Application Development Platform http://www.manjrasoft.com/manjrasoft_downloads.html which will make all the UIDs available globally.
