Abstract

This chapter uses structural decomposition analysis to determine which part of an MRIO database contributes most to the difference when comparing results produced with a second MRIO database. The chapter then investigates further by using structural path decomposition to try to determine causes of difference at the cellular level. The chapter concludes by relating the findings back to what is known about the individual databases’ source data, structure and construction method.
