Zusammenfassung

In einer zunehmend digitalen Welt sind traditionelle Unternehmen mit sich schnell ändernden Kundenanforderungen, zunehmender Marktdynamik und dem kontinuierlichen Aufkommen neuer technologischer Entwicklungen konfrontiert. Angesichts der Erfordernisse einer digitalen Welt streben Unternehmen danach, agile Methoden in größerem Umfang einzusetzen, um diesen Anforderungen gerecht zu werden. In den letzten Jahren hat sich das Management der Unternehmensarchitektur als wertvoller Governance-Mechanismus für die Koordinierung groß angelegter agiler Transformationen etabliert, indem strategische Überlegungen mit der Durchführung von Transformationsprojekten verbunden werden. Die Zusammenarbeit zwischen Unternehmensarchitekten und agilen Teams ist jedoch nicht immer reibungslos, da beide gegensätzliche Denkweisen aufweisen. Vor diesem Hintergrund präsentieren wir eine Multiple-Case-Studie in fünf führenden deutschen Unternehmen, die dieses Spannungsfeld beleuchten soll. Basierend auf unseren Ergebnissen aus 68 halbstrukturierten Interviews mit 25 Branchenexperten stellen wir eine Reihe von Taktiken zur Verbesserung der Zusammenarbeit zwischen Unternehmensarchitekten und agilen Teams vor.
