Abstract

A method is proposed for estimating the inspection interval and the average duration of metrologically reliable operation of measuring instruments. This approach can be used for analyzing random drift in the metrological characteristics of measurement devices, and also for evaluating other parameters that characterize the reliable operation of various technical devices.
