Abstract

Common Aero Vehicle (CAV) [1] is a Hypersonic Glide Vehicle (HGV) featuring a hypersonic-L/D of up to 3, whereas the in-flight L/Ds of the space shuttle and X-33 Reusable Launch Vehicle (RLV) are only about 1.
