Abstract
Globalization processes and the active development of innovative technologies in the present period of time are the most significant factors that affect the activities of modern organizations and form new challenges to maintain their competitiveness. Modern managers are very important to understand that the formation of the digital economy leads to the transformation of different sectors of the economy, and therefore requires the construction of new business models and approaches to the management of organizations, resulting in new challenges and requirements for the work of managers. Thus, the inevitable digitalization of the economy changes working conditions and requires new competencies among company employees. In the conditions of high competition, they need to adapt to the ongoing changes in the external environment.
