Erfolgsfaktoren und ein Vorgehensmodell für die Adoption von EMS

Die Adoption von EMS ist mit Veränderungen der Interaktion in Sitzungen sowie Veränderungen der Organisation verbunden, innerhalb derer Sitzungen stattfinden. Um EMS erfolgreich nutzen zu können, ist die Gestaltung dieser Veränderungen im Rahmen einer Einführungsstrategie notwendig. Suchuran (1987) zitiert zwei Alternativen der diesbezüglichen Handlungssteuerung:

„..the European navigator begins with a plan — a course — which he has charted according to certain universal principles and he carries out his voyage by relating his every move to that plan. His effort throughout his voyage is directed to remaining on course. If unexpected events occur he must first alter the planthen respond accordingly. The Trukese navigator begins with an objectiverather than a plan. He sets off toward the objective and responds to conditions as they arise in an ad hoc fashion. He utilizes information provided by the windthe waves the tide and current {...}. His effort is directed to do whatever is necessary to reach the objective”(Berreman 1966; zitiert in Suchman 1987,VII).
