Consider a scenario: you’re making the return drive to your home in the suburbs after a long day of work. It’s been a grueling day in the office doing menial tasks that ultimately mean little or nothing to you, apart from the fact that doing them repetitively each day produces—weekly, monthly, what have you—a paycheck with which you can feed your family. While passing by a pavilion of stores, a detached voice alerts you from your car speakers that there is a sale on a particular kind of frozen pizza that your children enjoy. You need only to instruct your car to turn into the parking lot of the grocery store (that’s right, it’s driving for you), and it will gladly place an online order at that grocery store.
