Apart from the traditional dispensing practices, pharmacists are currently assigned to provide pharmaceutical care services focusing on identifying medication-related problems, taking a medication history, patient interviewing, and designing an evidence-based care plan. The advancement of the pharmacist's role to be part of the health care team to maximise the health care provided to the patient should be met with restructuring the pharmacy education and assessment from being focused only on medicine compounding, selling, and dispensing to include pharmaceutical care provision. Undergraduate pharmacy education has changed tremendously over the years, evidenced by the shift from a customer-based approach to a patient-centered approach using different clinical learning and examinations models such as Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE). OSCE exam is considered a powerful and valuable tool for evaluating pharmacy students' clinical performance. During the COVID-19 pandemic, pharmacy education and examination are globally affected. Many pharmacy schools are confronting surpassing challenges to sustain education during the COVID-19 pandemic. The global experiences of academics and healthcare instructors in delivering emergency remote teaching, ensuring purposeful experiential pharmacy student placements, communicating and supporting the displaced or isolated pharmacy students are considered an accelerating opportunity for new models of pharmacy education. Therefore, this chapter aims to have an overview of pharmacy education during the COVID-19 pandemic, the challenges to online pharmacy education, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on pharmacy learning and education. Also, to have an overview about conducting OSCE clinical examination during COVID-19; the online OSCE exam preparation, set up, implementation, and assessment during COVID-19. Finally, to describe what can happen in the future to the online pharmacy student clinical education, OSCE assessment, and examination.

Using Logistic Regression Approach to Predicating Breast Cancer DATASET

The aim of this study is to predicate breast cancer by using three approaches: Multilayer perceptron, multiple linear regression, and logistic regression, then make a comparison between the performance of these approaches to decide the best approach to analyses the Wisconsin breast cancer dataset. In this study, we used the Wisconsin breast cancer dataset (699 instances and 11 attributes). Three approaches (multilayer perceptron, multiple linear regression, and logistic regression) were applied to the dataset to predicate the Wisconsin breast cancer. Performance was calculated for each approach and a comparison was made between the three approaches to see which is better. From the performance comparison between multi-layer perceptron, multiple linear regression, and logistic regression, the Wisconsin breast cancer dataset is best to analyses using multi-layer perceptron, with 100% compared to logistic regression 97.6% and multiple linear regression 84.4%. The computerized and especially logistic regression model could be useful to the predicate for many fields of science. For this reason, it’s used abundantly in the medical field specially to build a model to predicate breast cancer. The conclusion from this experiment showed that not all the independent variables have the coefficient effect with the dependent variable. However, the logistic regression approach is the best approach to analyses the Wisconsin breast cancer dataset rather than the multi-layer perceptron and multiple linear regression approach.

This study aimed to understand the current conditions of the tourism product as well as tourist perceptions in Aqaba City. A quantitative approach methodology was developed to meet the research aims and objectives. The quantitative technique was used based upon the opinion of tourists who visited Aqaba to understand the current condition of tourism products and tourist perceptions. The result indicated that most of the tourists complained about the transportation and traffic. Therefore, there is a need for local institutions to overcome this problem by facilitating access to important tourist attractions areas. Moreover, these institutions should give more attention to the cleanliness issue in Aqaba. Tourists also indicated that Aqaba lacks good restaurants to use or café to enjoy in the city. This indicates that existing places are all popular initiating the need to construct new places with suitable entertainment for tourists. Aqaba Special Economic Zone (ASEZA) should encourage the private sector to establish more cafés, restaurants, and other facilities in Aqaba. Moreover, public institutions should control prices, as tourists complained about the manipulation of prices, especially with tourists using their ignorance of prices. Another weak element was raised by tourists is the poor activities included in the tourist programs in Aqaba. Tourists who visited Aqaba felt boring in particular during night times due to the poor program. The tourists expected to see the city with a wide range of tourist activities distributed in different places. Authorities and policymakers in Aqaba should create a suitable and enjoyable activates program for tourists. The study also recommended that tourism in Aqaba should be marketing along with Petra and Wadi Ram as standalone destinations. How Drones Can Mitigate Unknown-Unknown Risks Case of Covid-19

This paper shows the importance of technology in mitigating the spread of Covid-19 which has significantly changed the lives of people, affecting health, livelihood, and the global economy due to the closure of international borders. It has promoted social distancing and increased the need for measures that can eliminate the impact of COVID-19 related issues and outcomes. The research investigates the ways technology can benefit to support teams in preventing Covid-19. It also aims to examine the main advantages of drones during Covid-19. In addition to suggesting the use of drones to fight the Covid-19 pandemic. The inability of some countries to cope with the virus and the effective use of drones to deal with it highlights its importance. However, there is a need to adjust some cultures to the use of drones during the coronavirus crisis. Based on the review of literature, it indicated that people couldn’t eliminate the virus impact yet, but they could alleviate the damage they caused. The current research has used interviews to collect data from five organizations involved in the mitigation of unknown-unknown risks, including the Ministry of Health & Community Protection, Dubai Executive Council, DEWA, Melaaha Drones, and ArabDrones. Moreover, a face-to-face interview was conducted by phones and e-mail conversations. As well as a literature review has helped in exploring the unknown-unknown risk method along with the use of Artificial Intelligence such as drones to assist in combating the Covid-19 pandemic. The descriptive qualitative research design has helped to test the hypothesis regarding its ability of drones to mitigate the unknown-unknown risk of Covid-19. The research results part indicated that drones are vital constituents of contingency planning. They have proven their value by going for the extra mile in saving costs and lives by incorporating drones technology in minimizing the effects of the crisis which was illustrated with some real examples. Also, the paper has proven the hypothesis by showing another real example on a drone company like ArbaDrone and how they assess, plan and mitigate unknown-unknown risks by following such a specialized program called RIO Project Program to measure and minimize the crisis impacts in the running company. Thus, drones have significantly helped countries such as the UAE to deal with the risks against Covid-19 through the elimination of infection risks with about 96% accuracy via computerized tomography scans. Finally, since the drones have contributed to international success in mitigating the Covid-19 pandemic and having an essential role in fighting the spread of the virus, so, it is very necessary to re-enforce the drone’s experience to enhance the fight against coronavirus attracting other tools. Furthermore, extra studies still needed to give more bigger pictures about the impact of this coronavirus statistically to have more information about its influences on the global market.

Impact of Remote Work on Project Risks Management: Focus on Unknown Risks

Unidentified risks, also called unknown unknowns, have been outside the scope of organization risk management for a long time. Many leaders believe uncertainties are difficult to find or imagine in advance. For instance, when COVID-19 spread quickly to different parts of the world in early 2020, the sudden shift of tens of millions of workers from on-site to remote work locations was experienced across the globe. Many businesses sent their staff to work at home, and most enterprises adopted technology to maintain their operations. Remote work has been aided by new technological platforms, including virtual private networks (VPNs), voice over Internet protocols (VoIPs), virtual meetings, and other collaboration tools. During this COVID-19 pandemic, these technologies have reduced the spread of the virus, enabled employers to decrease overhead expenses, helped workers to gain flexibility, and abridged overall organization risks. This study gathers critical information about remote work amidst unknown risks, such as COVID-19 pandemic, by relying on qualitative and quantitative data. The study develops a model to characterize unidentified risks by gathering employees’ perspectives on remote working. Data collected will be compared in terms of the benefits and challenges of remote work. The findings and discussion will be used to suggest and recommend ways organizations can rely on remote work to improve performance and mitigate sudden, unknown risks.

The Influence of Enterprise Risk Management Framework Towards Company Performance at Conglomerate Group of Companies

This study explores the influence of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework implementation on the company performance at a conglomerate group of companies, DRB-HICOM Berhad (the Group). This study intends to solve the problem in assessing the relationship between company performance and ERM implementation by focusing on the companies that standardized their ERM implementation towards all subsidiary companies with multi-type of businesses. In this theoretical analysis, quantitative research with correlational research design will be used, and sampling analysis will be done based on the data samples from 3 main business sectors (namely automotive, properties and services) in the Group and both primary and secondary data from Group subsidiary companies. The evaluation on the adoption of the Committee of Sponsoring Organization of the Treadway Commission (COSO) ERM framework within the subsidiary companies will be a key in assessing the ERM practices within the Group. At the same time, the company performance was measured from the company revenue achievement. Different from previous researches done by previous scholars where the studies were only analyzed on one type of business (single way of ERM implementation only and without comparison) or were done on multi-type of businesses/companies (where too many ways of ERM implementation) which contributed to the failures in assessing the relationship between companies performance and ERM implementation, this study will provide a new solution on the above shortcomings by analyzing the companies (with different type businesses) that have an identical implementation of ERM framework across the Group. This may help future researchers and ERM practitioners to develop better standardization of ERM implementation based on the COSO framework. This paper also provides an insight into the best practices in the ERM to be implemented in other companies or organizations, which will impact the company in terms of financial and non-financial performances.

DDoS Intrusion Detection with Ensemble Stream Mining for IoT Smart Sensing Devices

Security threats in the Smart City Systems are becoming a challenge. These Smart City Systems, generating Big Data, are a revolutionizing application of the Internet of Things(IoT). Data Stream Mining, which is an efficient way of handling Big Data, is now of great concern. The acquired information is computationally expensive to process in terms of efficiency and runtime. Detection of suspicious activities on decentralized servers, generating and computing massive data streams requires time. Moreover, several stakeholders should be engaged to train the heterogenous malware data streams in the level of service application. Small experiments can be performed on the functionality of Batch ML on IoT datasets with available heap size resources. Among these candidate datasets, a little contribution has been already represented on the Mirai Attack. This research aims at the study of Data Stream Mining algorithms. Owing to the accuracy and interferences of the measurement, these algorithms are able to handle the non-hierarchical and unbalanced datasets similar to the Mirai Attacks. No single method can solely improve these critical standpoints. Thus, an Ensemble technique should be implemented. According to our study, a pool of meta or selective classifiers that interact based on the temporal Data Mining swiftly can outperform others. The maintainability and security concerns of such applications can be best fulfilled in meta-heuristics with the one-time scanning network approach for the recognition of the most frequent attacking pattern with the on-the-fly scheme. These are implemented in Create, Read, Update and Delete (CRUD) operations of the Big Data Systems.

Development of Data Mining Framework Cardiovascular Disease Prediction

One of the highest shares of data-driven technology of health sector happens for private insurance stakeholders. It is therefore clear that private insurance companies can only survive being competitive in covering different medical stages such as surgery, intervention and other clinical trials in a high-risk environment. Estimation of expected costs and coverage is also important for both patient and insurer. In this case study we as a Data Mining and Artificial Business consultant want to explore different techniques of data mining to find out business risks for patients. We have asked the insurer to provide us a sizable medical history to watch those features. We would like to predict if given biographical profile of the patient along with exam results can predict CVD so he can cover his costs with this Insurer. On the other hand, in case of higher error of misclassified CVD what kind of decision should be taken by risk holder and insurer. Which one of these attributes causing this cost and what other stakeholders like target group of patients can be suffered from the loss? The ultimate goal is to develop a model that can predict the gap between those patients’ perception of their disease and their real disease. This can further help stakeholders to develop specific insurance policy.

Share Your Beautiful Journey: Investigating User Generated Content (UGC) and Webrooming Among Malaysian Online Shoppers

The electric commerce (e-commerce) platform in Malaysia has been growing exponentially since the spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. Many local businesses were badly affected when the first phase of Movement Control Order (MCO) was implemented for several weeks. The increasing number of social media platform users stems from wide internet accessibility and smartphone ownership. As such, this study investigated online purchasing behaviour in Malaysia by linking webrooming and user generated content (UGC) with brand experience and brand engagement. Essentially, this study unravelled consumer purchasing behaviour during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study explored the effects of UGC and webrooming on brand experience and brand engagement among Malaysian online consumers who purchased beauty product. As a result, UGC and webrooming displayed positive correlation with brand experience. However, brand experience was insignificant for brand engagement. Additionally, brand experience was unsuitable to function as a mediator. Thus, the impact of social influencers and shoppertainment on brand engagement should be assessed. Future studies may look into webrooming from the light of Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR) Theory. Lastly, fake reviews, fake accounts, and bots that influence online purchasing behaviour among Malaysians should be investigated as well.
